I re-read the KPA100 manual and learned
that the K2/100 DOES reduce TX power
to 20 watts when the TUNE button is pressed
and the POWER control setting is above
that level.
I have my KPA100 integrated with a KAT100
in an outboard case rather than being install
Just to be clear, you do not need the KAT100 ATU for this feature to
work. The K2/100 will lower the power to 20W (if set above that) during
a TUNE cycle.
