Does your K3 have gold front panel pins?  The older tinned pins caused a lot of intermittent problems.  I think the changeover to gold happened around serial #5500. Before I replaced mine with gold, I got so I could remove the front panel, spray the tin pins with DeoxIT, and reassemble the rad

I suggest the synthesizer/s.  Power off; pop the top; pull and reseat it/them.  It/they is/are a small card towards the face of the rig as I recall. Then EACH of the TMP connectors (a slight twist of the CONNECTOR, not the wire cable). There may be some cruft build up after time (small corro
