I've been doing Linux Terminal Servers for a long time...K12LTSP and even
Edubuntu. I'm now coming back to Edubuntu after using Resara for a few
years. Here's my scenario
I have a huge server...no issues there. Quad processors...each quad
core...24GB RAMmultiple fast hard drives...
What I'm running into are a few things...and I'm sure I'm just missing
something. First...I've disabled the other onboard NIC on the
serverit doesn't get and address, but ifconfig still shows it's there.
I also need to change the default addressing scheme for DHCP to a
10.0.0.x network. I di
How is the server obtaining the IP address? DHCP from some other source on the
network (this would break your client's PXE booting)?
