HDPI: unity ran
I get this behaviour with my Dell M4800 (3200x1800) with utopic and current
vivid
However I mostly get the effect when I connect one or two additional displays
and
configure them with arandr.
I never had it directly after a reboot.

No password prompt is given after loc
Confirming: I installed Xubuntu Utopic 2 days ago, and this bug is also
biting me. However, I noticed that it depends on the time interval
between suspend and resume: the bug only happens when I resume 2+ hours
after I suspend (it always happens in the morning when I first open the
laptop lid).

Hi,
occasionally when I lock my screen there is not prompt for entering the
password presented. Therefore, I cannot unlock the screen anymore.
The only thing displayed is my Username in a frame, but not the username itself.
There are two ways to workaro
It seems that I'm plagued by this issue too.
Dell Inspiron N 4050 and Kubuntu 14.10. Upgraded from previous LTS where it
worked.

I'm having problems with this one too. I have no third party tweak tools
installed, but i do use xorg.conf, to modify the screen resolution. I
don't know if that could have an impact.

Oops - spoke too soon. Bug still present. Seems to be not quite 100%
reproducible - correct behaviour occurs for some programs and some
window configurations (maximised vs windowed), and possibly depending on
how many programs have been opened since boot.
