Right clicking on Nautilus, and then on the "Show Copy Dialog" entry
also doesn't do anything. It is still copying though, as I can tell from
hearing heavy activity on the hard disc.

Tried all of the actions mentioned here:

None helped (well, for starters, there isn't a file copying icon in the status
bar), but the other two also don't work.
Also wmctrl -R didn't help, all it did was make nautilus windows
completely invisible
still happens on ubuntu 13.10...

With the next LTS release coming up and being the last bundle unity7 I
think it's time to resurrect this bug and find a proper solution to
either make the shortctus costumizable or at least to disable the
hardcoded ones, the latter of which shouldn't be too hard.

change the time the dash is launched to be before the super-key is hit.
Therefore, upon login, the dash should be launched in a hidden state
that doesn't capture key-inputs.

This appears to be fixed in the latest Ubuntu 14.04 images... On an Atom
N270 it used to take close on a whole minute to open the dash. Now less
than one second! Can anyone else confirm?
