Title: Locations in the menu updating every second is distracting Status in The Date and Time Indicator: In Progress Status in “indicator-datetime” package in Ubuntu: Triaged Bug description: indicator-datetime 12.10.2-0ubuntu3 1. Add multiple other locations to the menu. 2. Check "In the clock, show: Seconds". 3. Open the menu. What you see: The time for every location shows the seconds. This is repetitive and rather distracting. I propose that times in other locations should show just the hours and minutes, regardless of whether you've chosen to show seconds in the menu title. <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TimeAndDate#menu-locations>: "Each time should be presented in the same way as it is in the menu title, except that ... seconds should never be included, to reduce redundancy and avoid distraction."
