I'm on a 64-bit system trying to install "overlay-scrollbar-gtk2:i386"
which depends on the "overlay-scrollbar:i386" package. "overlay-
scrollbar:i386" doesn't have an install candidate because it's a "multi-

On the basis of EFF recommandations, here the what's need to be done to
solve this bug, considering the stagnation/progress/regession observed
since Ubuntu 12.10:

Per Charles, a plain C Alarms API that's currently in draft form is
completed. Plans implement this this right after Christmas break and
then make indicator-datetime dogfood this API to connect to the EDS
backend.
Once that is complete, clock should be able to make the API call via qml

Public bug reported:
Hi! I just created a very simple example (see attachment file). Just
uncompress and run the test.py file:
$ python2 test.py
$ sudo python2 test.py
FINE: Geany icon is showed in Unity.
$ python3 test.py
$ sudo python3 test.py
BUG: Generic python icon is showed in Unity.
FYI:
Do we have an update on this? What is missing from being able to get an
alarm to ring from clock?

Indeed, opening the Dash again and selecting the item again triggers
playback. So the issue seems to be that when Rhythmbox gets started by
the dash, it does not immediately receive the item selection as well.

Belated thanks to TJ for that good analysis.
I see two things going wrong here. First, "(not present)" should only be
used for internal batteries; peripherals that aren't present shouldn't
be shown at all. There are thousands of possible chargeable devices not
