each folder (of course). So I had done a 'find -maxdepth' type command
to find and delete them, and only hit the ones in Maildir. Now that I

I found the issue.
The solr schema xml file was wrong, and I did not check the error logs
correctly. So, the error was in solr:

15, which should have updated libcurl in the process, and I'm still
getting the same error message. I also moved Solr to another server

Reverting http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-1.2/raw-rev/2cdfcca171d8 solves
this problem. Is there a preferred way to fix this issue?

Seems to be related to the 'Opening mailbox foo failed: Mailbox doesn't
exist: foo' problem. For another user it works fine.

I don't really see why this would happen, but this at least makes it
just log uid=error rather than crash

Looks like you're running 1.2.8, the
maildir_uidlist_records_drop_expunge crash was fixed in 1.2.9. Upgrading
should fix your problem.
