Dumb question : Is NAS on ethernet and laptop on wireless? Could your router have done a firmware upgrade? Does it now have some option that sounds like AP isolation? Reason being that AP isolation could stop a wireless client from seeing the NAS ... basically a lot of SMB works over broadcast
