Adding the field into tables is ok for me.
Adding fiels into form is ok if there is an option to have a condition
to show term or not.
The question is where is the best place to edit this option ?

I think I will start this by copying the payment terms functionality. Combo
list, defined by a dictionary, defaulted on the thirdparty page, and
present on proposal, order and invoice. Even if a module is not enabled,
this will work.
