I have an MSI 970A-G46 and using GPT on mirrored boot disks with mdraid.
Bootloader is lilo, and I havn't had any issue. FYI, the init on that
box is busybox (http://turkos.aspodata.se/computing/busy
Just my 2 cents on the whole issue of UEFI and Grub...Everyone should
take the time to learn what UEFI is and how it works. The time and
headaches you save later are worth it.

UEFI computers. Debian installs fine. It is the boot issue that needs
to be addressed. I think my point is that Devuan will not have to do
anything to address this issue. Sorry for any confusion.

While for comprehensive testing you need an array of real hardware (as
quirks vary wildly), for basic tests you can use VMs:
