I get nervous when people talk about using data about me "for reasons" if I haven't agreed to it before submitting information. I suspect I'm not unusual in having that reaction; it could be risky just using info "about people" without asking for their consent. One rule of thumb for whether "usin

FWIW: Communication is hard but I like what I'm hearing about relying on and expecting the people around us to be compassionate and help out when there's a misunderstanding. All the resolutions in the world won't fix things if that common sense baseline isn't upheld. Civility is surprisingly easy
