Adding another 2GB of swap allowed it to build and I used checkinstall
to produce a .deb file.
I installed the .deb package and have gnuradio-companion up and running.
BTW, platform is an ODROID-X.

I built the Kubuntu x86_64 and Ubuntu ARM versions without using the
build script which is an Ubuntu only script.
The openSUSE x86_64 version I also built and have running.
