I'm working on narrowband/tunnel.py. I changed the usrp_source call to
create 4 channels, I added all necessary connections.
I made those changes with two channels using the default fpga image
and it worked well.

I updated the GNURadio Ubuntu install instructions for the 1.53 special
case. It's a known safe option, so it should generate less issues.
I'll update the wiki once Ubuntu updates the libboost-all-dev meta-package
to the newer version.

You can use a block, or a C# application that just listens to the socket.

I had this issue once and if I remember correctly, connecting the block
to the flowgraph (i.e. connect any block to your message port, even if
that port will never send messages) will make your message handler react
to messages from your python code.
