$ find / -name libpython\*
and send me the output off-list. We'll see if we can give you a
workaround.

I missed this earlier...
when i run ./configure in gnuradio-core, i saw the
following..
checking for Python library path...
/usr/lib/python2.3/config
checking python extra libraries...
checking Python headers and library usability...

Sorry for not mentioning the gcc version.
I am using gcc 3.2.2.(RedHat 9). Since I hadnt seen
any mention of issues with gcc 3.2, i guess i forgot
to mention that.
Has anyone done a a successful install of gnuradio on
redhat 9?
