Dear All,
I am trying to acquire a wide spectrum (wider than the bandwidth of the
SDR).
This requires a scan over the tuning frequency. Is it possible to obtain
this in a single flowgraph? Possibly even with a GUI?
I tried to start from this old post, but could not reach a good working
stage...

Nick,
could you give me a pointer to the schema of your decoder ?
It seems to me that was available somewhere but I didn't manage to retrieve it.
Thanks in advance

USRP2?
does USRP provide a digital up converter for direct UHF modulation?
i'm not really into the technicalities of FPGA design so maybe this is a
very naive question. if so, sorry in advance..

By default, make install will install all the files in /usr/local/bin,
/usr/local/lib, etc.
You can specify an installation prefix other than /usr/local using
--prefix option of configure script, for instance
./configure --prefix=/opt

I would really like to look at it, so that I could use it as starting
point for working on the tx path.
Thanks,

P.S. For the USRP2 api, I usually compare the USRP2 and USRP swig code
(e.g. usrp2.py and usrp_swig.py).

Also note the amplitude of the sinusoid: in USRP B is larger than in
USRP A, although A is actually the sender.
Waiting for your valuable inputs,

Hi everybody,
I'm new in GNURadio and USRP's world. I'm working with ubuntu 8.04, USRP2,
daughterboard xcvr2450, and last trunk of GNURadio. I'm trying (with GRC) to
transmit and receive on the same USRP2 a sinusoidal signal. (with frequency 50
kHz). In my trasmition chain at first I generate a
self.connect(self.usrp, self.demod, self.dec, self.slicer,
self.snk)

Sorry, I don't know the python module you are talking about.
My question to the gnuradio mailing list was essentially the same of
yours. To deal with

of symbol to reproduce the proper period length?
Are there any helper function int the framework to do the job? What the
simple_framer block exactly does, are there other blocks dealing with
framing.
