I should add that I've duplicated this with multiple USRPs of different
revisions and different revisions of the RFX 2400 (the 12-26-2006
version as well). So I don't think I broke my hardware... I've also
duplicated it at multiple frequencies.

I have another question. Can the "gr_dd_mpsk_sync_cc" block demodulate BPSK?
Also, is there anything I should know before using this block (like warnings
on what should not be done since it may result in erroneous decoding of the
messages)?

Ok, so I was able to achieve the functionality I was asking for with the help
of various post responses ("set_auto_tr(), gr_stall, and PTT" and "Problem
with symmetric behavior") . I am using set_enable( ) to accomplish my goal,
