Is it possible to add some flow entries to do VLAN switching with OVS ? For
VLAN switch, it means (1) no MAC learning and (2) simply output to specific OVS
port by VLAN ID in the packet.
If yes, could someone provide one example ?

Sorry, my wording was misleading. My intention was to ask some rough idea, not
exact OpenFlow commands.

I understand that the SPAN/RSPAN support from physical switches does not have
filtering support. It seems make sense when traffic mirroring implemented in
physical switch hardware. Now with Open vSwitch, it might be better to support
filtering on SPAN/RSPAN to reduce the monitoring traffic ban
I believe I figured out the answers for my questions. Édouard's test replaced
veth pair by OVS internal port between linux bridge and ovs bridge.

Simply reading some openstack manual, I found that Openstack Neutron would need
and/or configure several OVS bridges within every compute Nodes and Neutron
networking node. From OVS point of view, the multiple OVS bridges will be
multiple Datapath inside one OpenvSwitch. the data processing w
