Hi,
I have OVS 1.7.3 successfully installed and ovsdb-server is running. But
upon reboot it is not. INSTALL.Linux says to run this:
% ovsdb-server \
--remote=punix:/usr/local/var/run/openvswitch/db.sock \
--remote=db:Open_vSwitch,manager_options \

Can somebody help me out here? According to the Install matrix, OVS 1.4.0
should be supported by Kernel 3.2.0-36. So what are my options? Thanks.

Hi,
Is there any reason why the 1.4.0 packaged OVS would not work with Kernel
3.2.0-36, but does with 3.2.0-34? I had things running fine with 3.2.0-34,
and had left my lab for a month before returning to it and doing an
'apt-get upgrade'. The Kernel got upgraded to 3.2.0-36 and upon reboot I
now
Thanks. So would OVS 1.4.0 (Ubuntu package) require ovs-brcompat to be
installed? My goal is to implement VLAN Configuration as per the Cookbook
on the website.

Hi,
When building OVS 1.7.1 on Ubuntu 12.10 (Kernel 3.5.0-19), I got the
following error during 'make':
openvswitch-1.7.1/datapath/linux/datapath.c:42:24: fatal error: asm/system.h:
No such file or directory
This got me thinking: is 3.5.0-19 even supported? According to the latest
README of OVS
