Thanks Steffen. Changing all of the references in the dia.bat file from "Program Files" to "PROGRA~1", eliminated the problem finding the DLL.
Now I have another problem??? ... maybe a problem ... maybe not a problem, trival testing seems to indicate that most (see #2 below) of Dia seems to be wo
