Hi
When I moved to Fedora after years of doing Debian packages I noticed
that there is no such thing as patch management when it comes to Fedora
packages. Everyone is using %patch macro with files of random patchlevel
(some even use reverse patches).
%autosetup was created to handle that but
I think it's because no one told that it exists ;)

So, I'll reply here, but I'm replying in general to the thread not the
last post in particular. ;)
This topic seems to come up from time to time and we never really
"solve" it, but a mix of old and new ideas here I think has some
promise:

Hi,
it's quite new feature in rpmbuild:

I.e. since rpm-4.11.

This has an annoying 'shrank by one' debuginfo problem and further
problems on 32-bit with recent GCC, but it is building on x86_64 now.
A bug has been filed regarding the problems and I'm pursuing them
upstream.

And it hangs there forever?
Can you ping pkgs.fedoraproject.org ?
I see logins from you, perhaps there's just some slow or difficult

that should be removed because it's packaged with Fedora (

Hello Dave,
You will get the option which platform you want to have the rebuild
for, when you click resubmit.
IIRC even the platforms where the last build was successful will not
be selected by default.
