There was a failure building odb during the rebuild. A later rebuild
worked, but is this something I should worry about or file a report against?

Greetings!
I've been a Fedora user since Fedora Core 3, but now I'm starting the
move to the next level - becoming a Fedora packager.
I'm interested in vintage hardware, especially older ATI/Radeon video,
and PPC (Macs & IBM).
I'm hoping to contribute to Fedora development in a couple of areas:

ok, there's just one more package affected in rawhide:

This way I got pygpgme in EPEL v5, which I’m afraid I don’t have any time for;
so that branch is orphaned now as well. Comaintainers (for this branch or the

That would be a lot of waste. Only a small subset of packages are
affected. Why shouldn't we just rebuild the ones that are affected?

As requested on this ticket, I'm opening this up for discussion.

There's a proposal to retire packages quite quickly (I think) after
they are orphaned. At the moment packages are retired once per
release. A notice is posted on devel list, see for exampl

Hi,
The xtrace package has been renamed to the x11trace package due to a collision
with the name of a glibc tool. The xtrace package should now be removed from
Fedora.
I can see a "fedpkg retire" option for removing it from Rawhide, but is it
possible to remove it now from F21 and earlier?

Hi everyone,
I'm mainly working on the OpenStack Ceilometer project, so I'll be trying to
make sure its dependencies are packaged and maintained in Fedora!
For a start, I'm working on getting a Python Zookeeper library, kazoo, packaged
