Hi, whimsy folks,
Could you please remove the GitHub ID field from the whimsy roster service?
The field is not canonical/authoritative, and mostly just serves to confuse new
committers these days. The only authoritative place for GitHub IDs is through

Hi folks,
I noticed that item 7B for November seems to fail the standard checks due to a
whitespace irregularity that stems from word-wrapping in the resolution. A word

It's a CSS issue, the top menu is hiding the header.
The browser is correctly scrolling to where it should, but alas...
one fix would be to add a top margin to all headers.

Hi folks,
I checked the site checker, https://whimsy.apache.org/site.cgi/ , and it
shows that HTTPd doesn't have a security link or a thanks link - both of
which are wrong. Just thought I'd shoot you a note on that subject.
Security-wise, we point to http://httpd.apache.org/security_report.html

Should be mod_negotiation, which is in charge of multiviews negotiation
(multiple docs with the same base name). You can set a preferred order

Hi folks,
as part of our (infra's) plan to consolidate services and free up some

Hi folks,
as of 5 minutes ago, the commit messsages from both git-dial and github
have been harmonized using MultiMail. This means a change in the commit

Interesting - seems to be an issue with a timeout somewhere that causes
the "real team" to be returned as a blank array, thus booting everyone

Hi folks,
After a lot of tinkering and old-cruft-removing, we now have a working
dual-repo setup. This means that you can now push to either
git-dual.apache.org or github, and they (should) stay in sync at any
time. git-dual is set up to attempt a sync before it acknowledges a new
push. If there's
k properly for MFA which
meant a few people got re-added a few times by mistake. It's since been
fixed.

Hiya folks,
We've begun migrating teams on github to their new ACL which means we can
finally enable our automatic team management system in the MATT project.
As a result, some of you may have been automatically added to the whimsy team
today. Check your inboxes :)
