I've been putting together a restructuring proposal for the current guides
as part of the overall documentation cleanup/standardization effort. A

I would be doubly interested in enumerating common tuning strategies
(along with the means used to identify which ones are worth using in a
given configuration), as I'm aiming to update that documentation soon
so that it is no longer blank. But I don't have the full expertise
myself to tackle that
Per the Documentation Roadmap, I've been putting together notes for a
new style guide. The primary goals being improvements to consistency,
quality, and readability for the docs. I've included, after receiving
some initial feedback, the updated version of those notes below for
criticism, discussion
