Jochen,
I've worked with Larry some. I'm reasonably sure that he's fully tuned
in. His point is that while these people may think that they've
created a selective license, that such a thing has no legal substance
(since it's all one jar) and so they have, effectively, dual-licensed
it.

I asked Larry Rosen for some *informal* legal advice. He's written a
book on open source licensing and a legal advisor to the ASF:

In both cases, my view is, following Larry

For what it's worth, I sent email to the cobertura dev list pointing
out my view that their AL versus GPL grant language is ambiguous, and
asking them to consider a statement of the form, "any open source
build tool can call cobertura." I'll pass along any response that I
get.

Apart from the option to move it, I think codehaus is the most logic place to
provide this plugin. The other one would be at cobertura self. This is where
users will look first.
I agree that with spending some time in this plugin it should be possible to
solve those licensing problems. And if B

As I understand it, the original author of the patch went below the
level of the ant tasks to the 'real' cobertura API. Robert opined that
this was a Codehaus licensing problem. Brett opined that it was not. I
opined that, if it was a problem, it made more sense to fork our of
