No … definitely not.
Even if it does seem as if this did the trick, It’s nothing more than a hack.
Currently it doesn’t matter if you do a “mvn compile”, “mvn package”, “mvn
verify”, “mvn install” or “mvn deploy” in the end it will always do a “mvn
install”. That’s not really good. Also you can’
Hi ,
I don't want to start a framework discussion here but I'm loving PureMVC and
would like to describe my point of view:
I'm using PureMVC for years and these days it turns out that is more
powerful than ever for me.
I remember a lot of discussions regarding AS3 framework benchmarks and their

I like Swiz too.. all the others need more code to get things started, but
I believe it's really tight to flex, if other mvc frameworks are easier to
port, I think you should go for the fastest way..

Ok Chris,
I'll prefer wait to a more reliable solution. In the end this is not
critical right now
Thanks!

I check PureMVC many years ago, and liked it so much. But For me Swiz (or
Parsely) has sometihing I can't pass without... Dependency Injection. For
me annotations or metadata is a must, not only in this kind of micro
architectures, but a must in other type of code. For example validation

Carlos,
If you want injection and PureMVC maybe you should check fabrication [1]

So as the mavenizer is having the same error when downloading the fontkit libs,
I looked into this.
The problem is that sourceforge seems to have switched to certificates from
letsencrypt. Unfortunately, prior to 1.8.0_101 the default keystore doesn’t
trust those certificates. I don’t quite kno
I've made the following changes on the flex-asjs develop branch:
Image control now uses "src" property instead of "url" property to match
tag.
ImageButton control now uses "src" property instead of "source" property to be
consistent with Image control.
I did not touch the ImageAndTextButton c
Ok so I tried to work around the problem for the largest part of the day, but
it turns out not to be the certificate itself but the encryption strength
sourceforge uses. It seems to require an encryption strength that the normal
JDK simply can’t do, so we need our users to update the JCE, but th

Hi,
In case you were wondering, Apache Flex and the entire Apache Software
Foundation and the other 300+ ASF projects are funded by generous
donations. Some donations are in terms of people: I get paid by Adobe to
work on Apache Flex but Adobe doesn't write a check to the ASF

How do we get around this bit? (For context about 20% of our web site audience
is from the US). I’m not sure it's all countries however.
There seems to be serval countries where it can’t be used due
The font kit is optional. Maybe some folks will have to go through more
steps to get it.
Saxon is available on Maven. Bundle the NOTICEs in our repo and call it
done.
My 2 cents,

This proposal doesn’t see to match with what in that board report [1] as it's
for $50,000 sized experiments. Are you sure you get board support and VP
funding approval for this proposal?

Hi,
FYI we’ve had more people than I expect look at the FlexJS site. Most of
traffic is via direct links, but there’s a decent amount from twitter and a few
referrers.
