Well we are certainly not preventing users from using Java 8, but we are not
forcing them to update.
I would strongly advise not to raise the barrier for libraries higher than we
need them to be. Even if I agree that people should update, but some simply
can't. I am currently working on a big pr
work once.

get a jburg patch version out quite soon ... probably I'll also have to stage
the jburg maven plugin then too. Will check that.
