I'd leave it in.given that new versions of FP/AIR come out more frequently than
we're currently releasing the SDK. I notice for instance that the build files

I'd say that 'can be changed' should be enough indication that there
is an original state/default... I'd even consider taking the 'changi

Yeah, I'll try to get to that next week...

I just made a few changes to README, mostly cosmetic (see commit
email). Some questions, while reading it:
* "The Adobe Flash Player and Adobe AIR have excluded licenses so they
can not be bundled with the Apache Flex SDK" - is that meant to be
"exclusive"?
* Also, it's not clear whether "On Mac/L

He stated he is working on an updated version for the Flex Wiki.

I have added a link to the wiki page for Promises.
I found this link [1] for FlatSpark usage. Can we add this to the
RELEASE_NOTES? Or is Mahmoud planning on a new wiki page?
It would be nice to have a wiki page for the TLF Tables as well. Harbs,
any chance you can get something like that up?

The README needs a bit about Java (1.)8 and the RELEASE_NOTES will be
updated with any fixed JIRA tickets, but that's about it. I'd
appreciate it if you could take a look at them.

I’m ok with LICENSE and NOTICE. I haven’t reviewed README/RELEASE_NOTES
since they are still being worked on. I don’t know how to review
CONTRIBUTORS, but I would imagine some of our new testers need to go in it.

It seems to be working for me. It could use more testing. It would be
great if someone took the nightly and tried to follow the README to build
the source package.

Alex, did BlazeDS integration fully land, as far as the docs are concerned?

The BlazeDS integration will affect all of these documents, so folks
should wait until it lands.

I'm trying to avoid 'last-minute' finds, and long discussions at a
late stage that might block the release. Basically I'm starting early
on calling on people to help out with the various tasks that have
proved 'contentious' during previous releases :-)

These are in their 'final' state, not likely to substantially change,
whether we include the TLF 'tables' contribution or not.

Given the flex-tlf unit tests are all failing on apacheflexbuild and
have been for two weeks, I don't imagine there is much rush as I
understand there is a bunch of TLF changes in the release ?

Hi,
I want to make sure that the SDK documentation (README, RELEASE_NOTES,
NOTICE, LICENSE and CONTRIBUTORS) is in order BEFORE we enter the
release cycle. This will avoid discussion and delay, so please
contribute if you can!
There were considerable changes to each of these documents, so please
