We can also use maven profiles. We keep hadoop2 support by default and add a
new maven profile with hadoop3. This will allow the user to choose the profile
which is best suited for the use case.

Currently most of the active committers are not focussed on moving this out
of experimental. Having said that, we are always looking for new/existing

close to 9 years old and is EOL. We donot want to be in a boat where a CVE
