Hi Luca & all,
I confirm tests carried out via test_pmd and Ovs-DPDK do not show any regression
for us.
Cheers,

Hi,
The code in 17.11.4-rc1 does not compile for me.
Please, see below what I get:
[ 100s] gcc -m64 -DVERSION="17.11.4" -L/home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/dpdk-stable-
17.11.4-rc1/x86_64-native-linuxapp-gcc-default/lib -Wl,--version-

Hi Luca & all,
I have gone through the usual smoke tests using test_pmd and OvS-DPDK.
I have not experienced any issues with the -rc1 release.
Thanks,
Marco

Luca,
I ran some smoke tests on 18.02.2 / 17.11.3 and 16.11.7 using test_pmd and found
no issues with these snapshots.
Further, I ran some tests via OvS-DPDK and VPP (DPDK accelerated) using the
aforementioned snapshots and saw no issues.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
Marco

Hi,
Is anybody else experiencing issues with building DPDK 17.11 for ppc64le?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
I get the below error:

Hi,
I am trying to build the latest DPDK (18.02) but facing some issues on ARM64
platform.
I'm using the option CONFIG_RTE_MAJOR_ABI to set the SONAME to 18.02.

The error is connected to building the librte_pmd_dpaa.so. Please, see below:

Hi,
I'm seeing an error reported by the DPDK EAL when allocating the MBUF pools.
The error is:
"MBUF: error setting mempool handler"
I have a multi-node NUMA system and I get the exact same error when trying to
allocate the memory from the different nodes.
