Hi Community,
Could you help us to update potential mentors' email addresses on our
Apache APISIX projects?
Most mentors have no email address in the Apache domain so we can not
receive any mails.
I left comments on each Jira task where emails need to be updated.

Hello,
Just came across here. There are many OpenSource talks, and I am one of the
speakers [1].
The org team tried their best to help us do the rehearsal test, so nice.
People interested in openSource or community management could consider giving
it a look.

I very much like the direction here.
One other top post that falls into item 2 (rules of engagement):
Apache does operate in the open with discussions, bug fixes, etc. all out for
anyone to see. Except for security issues.
I'd like to discuss how we treat committers with security privileges wit

Hi everyone,
just a quick shout about the FOSS Backstage conference. FOSSBack is
Berlin-based conference on all non-technical issues in the Free and Open
Source Software world: Community management, legal/compliance, project
leadership, collaboration, adopting Open Source in corporations, etc.
I believe it is a technical issue. Otherwise, I could disable GitHub
notifications for anything in the Apache org and rely entirely on
emails sent to either dev@ or commits@ or whichever list a project
uses for notifications. While you can reply to a commit email from
gitbox and have it go straight

Yep.
The Apache Git Service emails have no chances to work. You have to
subscribe to the project notification by creating an account in GitHub and
providing the email address where you will receive notifications. It
would not be possible otherwise by GitHub to know who you are (you receive

I quite agree with Dave - Tidelift should not be any different and should
be treated exactly the same as anyone else.
I really think what ASF could do is to (and this is how I understand
Roman's proposal):
* clarify the rules and limits (so that companies like Tidelift - or

I can confirm this.
I get a popup with "Notification [object Response]" ... if I close the popup, I
can watch the bouncy bars for ... probably ever.
