I will be sending the 1.5.6 release announcement shortly. When
updating the pool website, I started by trying to use trunk, but
found the output confusing, since we are in process of changing the
groupId and package name. I decided, therefore, to publish based on
the updated 1_5_X branch. Once w

Hi Gary,
I honestly don't know why, I'm not in the position to reply, but while
trying to release the discovery-0.5-RC1 using mvn3 I got the error
below; after a little investigation I found the wiki page I reported
in my previous message that reports such "issue"...

I honestly even thought about it, so sorry! :( Since Discovery

Hi Rahul,
We can find a SCXML relative project in GSoC 2011 ideas list page, it is
interesting, i have assigned it to me. But i think you are the best mentor
candiate for this project, i want to know that if you are interested in
mentoring this project ? If yes, i will be glad to see you and Gavin

I've rolled the code back. Now I'm thinking the following are
candidates to roll back to String:
public static String stripAccents(CharSequence input) {
public static String capitalize(CharSequence cs) {
public static String uncapitalize(CharSequence cs) {

Agreed (apologies for the delay; life got, and is going to remain, very busy).
We should remove the CharSequence code I added. We should also review
the first batch of CharSequence changes.
I think it's fine to have this:
public int length(CharSequence seq)
I'll look into the removal if no one

Hi all guys!
we haven't released a new version of Apache Commons Discovery since
2008 (!!!), since I recently had to use it in a project I thought it
would have been fine having at least the Java5 generics support.
So, after 2 days of hard work - and thanks for feedbacks from dev

Hi Rahul!
done, but I meant that in mvn3 the scp protocol doesn't come out of
the box, we need to plug the wagon-ssh extension.
For releasing the discovery, I switched to mvn2, but for future mvn3
use I'd suggest to add it in the maven-3 profile in the parent pom.
Have a nice day, all the best!

Hi all guys,
due to unsupported 'scp' protocol by default by mvn3[1], I'd suggest
to add, in the 'maven-3' profile in the commons-parent, the wagon-ssh
extension.
If there isn't any objection, I can take care of it, just let me know.
In the meanwhile, I'd add the wagon-ssh in the [discovery] pom, i
