I am asking the list if there are any other ways of testing this and
generating unit tests.
What was used in the past to test the system vm's?

What is the current framework used to test a Cloudstack Virtual Router
(SystemVM) in isolation aka without Management Server if any?
I'd like to call a SystemVM script with a set of configuration parameters
(changes for VPCVrr, etc.) and observe the changes to the virtual routers
configuration.

Daan,
Is it safe to assume that the most of the refactoring work mentioned
(pushed) in your email is outlined in CLOUDSTACK-7143?

Here is a update of the work in support of Cloudstack-764:
The overall idea of this effort is to implement VPC Virtual Redundant
Routing and automate the unit
tests for system virtual machine for virtual routers both redundant and
non-redundant, for Cloudstack-764.
Current work areas.
Modify s

Good to hear from you! Hope all is well.
Yes, we should talk, but I'm afraid my schedule is such that I cannot put a
meeting on the calendar until the new year.
We have looked at the Java refactoring work. I seems most of that work was
a true refactoring in that it didn't change the interf
