Hi!
Having 4.11.1 at the horizon (btw. Thank You!), I've recently built packages
and systemvm templates and wanted to share some thoughts about the systemvm.
Here a few things i came across (I'ld provide a PR, but wanted to discuss that
in prior)

Dear all,
We plan to upgrade our existing CloudStack setup from 4.2.0 to the latest
version 4.8.0, and I am setting up a test environment with CloudStack
version 4.2.0 for me to try upgrading it to 4.8.0. However, I can't seem to
find the systemVM templates for the older version 4.2.0 simil
Hi,
It seems Jenkins slave ‘systemvmbuilder’ is down so I cannot build a systemvm
template to build / test PR 872 (strong swan). Does anyone know another way to
build a template?

Hi Raja,
Ian ran into this a few days ago. Great to see you reproduce it :). I don’t
remember the exact details, but there’s something about openswan that is broken
for some kernels on some platforms in debian 7.6.
Upgrading to debian 7.7 fixes it:

Hi
We are trying to build a system for generating System Templates. In that the
build process is failing in the middle - right around setting up openswan.
Can you please let me know if there is a way to fix this?
Thanks,

Hi,
My upgrade from 4.3.1 to 4.4.1-SNAPSHOT went just fine the other day, however
now I am stuck with 2 systemvms ( http://img.nux.ro/b7C-Selection_040.png )
How would I go about getting rid of the old one?

I'm writing Release-notes and I'd like to know where will be systemvms for
4.4.1?
last repo used was:
http://cloudstack.apt-get.eu/systemvm/4.4/
so I supose we will have vm named:
systemvm64template-4.4.0-.vhd
?
thanks

Hey,
Citrix off-lined the node used to build systemvm templates a while ago. Today i
managed to replace it with a new node so systemvm templates should start
building again.
Cheers,
Hugo

Hey Pierre-Luc,
The content of the .zip is just the .vhd, and they are the same.
$ cd ~/Downloads; mkdir foo; cd foo
$ unzip ../systemvmtemplate-4.4.0-hyperv.vhd.zip
Archive: ../systemvmtemplate-4.4.0-hyperv.vhd.zip
inflating: systemvmtemplate-4.4.0-3-hyperv.vhd
$ ls -al systemvmtemplate-4.4
created a job in jenkins.bac.o with tag 4.4.0

Please help me out with pointing to a location, where I can get the latest

I think Abhi is coming from the context of the bug CLOUDSTACK-3480
(Abhi correct me if I am wrong). There are parts of the object store
work that depend on the hardlink to the template url. Right now that
url points to the cloud.com resource which is in the vm_template
table.

The cloudstack community needs to find a online space to host system VM
templates. With 4.2 upgrade to new sytemVM templates is inevitable.
Can we request PMC to get us some space on apache infrastructure for the
same.
