Hi list is it possible to modify the start/end ip of a running network?
I'm ok restarting the vms/sysvms bound to the network but i need to chanfe
the start and move it a couple of ips forward.
I see in the database there's a vlan.description table that has a format
such as:
10.0.0.1-10.0.0.200
Hi List i got a specific question about Unamanaged hosts ping or
CheckOnHostAnswer etc.
I think when using vsphere , hosts will be of the type "unamanged" because
cloudstack connects to the sdk on vsphere and not directly to the hosts.
Having said that , Sometimes i see Hosts that have status of
Hi List.
Cloudstack doesn't seem to be honouring the snapshot policy , it never
deletes older snapshots when the retention is only set to 2.
I'm running 4.3.0.1 , anyone experienced this?
Thanks!
Hi List.
Does cloudstack uses transactions when writing to mysql ? i happen to see
data and soon enough disappears , like if i would be using READ_UNCOMMITTED.
The whole thing is that on a snapshot failure , the snapshot ID didn't get
status of "Error" it simply vanished from the snapshots table
One more:
Why "Simulator" isn't available on the gui (in the cluster creation part) ,
i know automated tests don't use the GUI but it would be handy anyways..
Having said that the api call supports it:

When using the simulator , Do you need to have a real host connected to
your cluster to get mocked results? seems a bit odd.

I have a simple problem and i wonder if there is any setting to change this
behavior.
I'm using cstack 4.0.2 , and when a host dies cloustack does not seem to
realize that its virtual machines aren't there any longer (I'm using local

We've done some memory upgrades to our hosts but even tho we can see the

We've forced recalculation and still no luck.
