I'm okay to forgo a vote since this thread is over 6 weeks old and there are limited opinions. If no one has objected to these designs by Monday or Tuesday next week I suggest we move forward so we have something basic that can be used On Fri, Jul 20, 2018 at 11:32 AM, Jacques Nadeau wrote: > I t

I think options 1-3 should all be okay. Do we need to run a formal vote to approve? It seems like they are just the logo and the name so I'm not sure anything further is needed. Items 4-6 introduce colors and I think we should probably do further exploration before adding more colors to the "Arrow

A designer I work with made some quick mock ups based on ASF colors: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/oqdbyndl5ik9rrc/AAA-4d_wJyU_267SmPHShuRfa?dl=0 The words "Apache Arrow" would need to get put on the hexagons We could outsource this work to 99designs also as another possibility; it wouldn't cost a

Thanks for driving this. Can you put the word “apache” in there (in smaller font if you like). That way, if you have the logo on slide 1 of your presentation, you’ve already done your duty to mention the Apache brand. Julian > On Jul 9, 2018, at 19:07, Kelly Stirman wrote: > > Hi everyone!

Is there a variant of the logo that includes the project name “Apache Arrow”? It’s fine if the stickers don’t include the product name, but for presentations it’s useful to use a variant of the logo is that self-describing. If we’re doing some graphic design, now might be a good time to create
