I think I mentioned this before, Nautilus does not handle the mounting, I
don't think its some other process causing the additional mount.
Nautilus just displays the mounted gVolume's, those themeselves come from GIO
Volume Monitor.
GIO Volume Monitor is basically a wrapper around the g
Probably the descriptions are a little obsolete, or otherwise gloss over
the technical details the end users wont understand.
nautilus has never managed the automounts afaik, the automount helpers
(i.e the auto-run actions) did live in nautilus in GNOME2, moved to
gnome-settings-daemon in 3.0 and
gnome2/compiz sessions such as flashback and cairo-dock, should really
not be using "GNOME", this is mostly gnome-shell specific.
GNOME Classic, should probably be using "GNOME" since it is gnome-shell
based. Although that makes it impossible to have different behaviour in
classic vs gnome-shell.
I had a super quick look into why this buggy when identifying as Unity
gnome-panel.desktop and nautilus-classic.desktop, will need to have
Unity added to "OnlyShowIn".
Still indicators won't load, this is probably something similar, but not
sure where that would be controlled from?

control-center and unity-settings-daemon (once it happens ), which will
be required since legacy code in the gnome- packages will be dropped

try and track down the GsdDeviceManager error first:

Both xrandr and wacom use this device manager, the first c
input settings have moved from g-s-d schemas into gsettings-desktop-
schemas, since these are now handled by mutter in GNOME 3.16. Given the

shared between plugins, so the second plugin to load will try and

1) no not really, its just that gnome-settings-daemon never had any
shared objects previously, so the link flags never caused a problem. I
just poked around in gdb to find the problem. You obviously can get
diffs to the previous versions via git, but that wouldn't have helped
much in th

This is stuck in proposed due to the webkit2gtk-4.0 dependency. Bug
1469221 is tracking this transition, but there is quite some porting to
be done.
Laney suggested it might be possible to move webkit3get-4.0 into main
for building purposes only and demote the resulting binary packages

I managed to cherry-pick/rebase enough from upstream to port u-s-d and
u-c-c to the new shared schemas in gsettings-desktop-shcemas, just a
couple of UI glitches to resolve and then I will make MP's.

vivid shipped with webkit2gtk 2.6 (you seem to be confusing with webkit1)
epiphany in wily is built against webkit2gtk 2.8, in fact that is a hard
dependency for 3.16.
Unfortuantely it is not possible to backport major releases to stable
release of Ubuntu, so this can't be fixed in vivid or earli
