Sebastien, of course it's customized, pc has a larger size monitor than my
laptop.
On laptop the font size is 11 but the window itself is way too large it almost
uses half of the desktop.
The ccsm window is resizable and looks fine in any mode or font size.

Thanks for taking the time, regarding q1, no, I have a second profile without
starting 20 tabs and it never caused a system freeze.
Regarding q2, yes adblock plus and ip-domain-flag, but adblock is turned off
anyway on this specific profile with 20 tabs open on start.
The crux is it occurs sporad

Since I've switched to chromium to work with lots of tabs there is no longer an

Currently using 16.04.4 LTS and just opened firefox 60.0.2 (64-Bit) with 20

Thanks for the advise. There is no kern.0.log, but kern.log.1, maybe you
meant xorg.0.log (all attached)
Just had two complete freezes with an updated kernel linux-
image-4.8.0-56-generic 4.8.0-56.61~16.04.1 amd64. Switch to console and
REISUB didn't work thus hard shutdown. I've booted with 4.8.0

Now complete freeze with updated 4.8.0-58-generic, hard shutdown, boot
4.8.0-56-generic, running now 30 minutes without freeze.
It happens so sporadic which makes it almost impossible to find the trigger.

Make a screenshot of an empty gedit window via shortcut alt+print.
Save the file to e.g. folder 'Images', name the file e.g. test-1.
Make another screenshot, save the file to the same directory with the same
file name.

Reproducable fixed the issue on unity-3d via dconf-editor setting systray
whitelist to default, logout-in. Second and third indicator-power disappeared.
Setting systray whitelist to 'all' displayed two power indicators after suspend
and reboot.

Unmounting a webdav closes Nautilus window, tested with two different webdavs.
Assume this isn't expected behaviour.
