I tested again in Ubuntu 14.10 with LO 1:4.3.2-0ubuntu1:
- saving as RTF works
- saving as DOC crashes
Therefore I opened a new bug with updated versions and stracktraces and
I will merge this one...

The crash on my system may be caused by updated packages from some PPA,
probably the "GNOME3 team" or "GNOME3 team staging" PPA.
