I would like to opine specifically that if $XDG_DATA_DIRS is
specifically not what the shell expects -- for example it might contain
a corrupted character from translating between fish arrays and bash
arrays -- Gnome Shell on Wayland will not start.
On X11, Gnome Shell will start.
This is concern
Having the same problem. I'm using a Logitech B100 mouse which is
connected via USB. At the lowest speed setting it's still very fast.
Please consider what the OP said and reduce the lowest speed by 80%.
I had hope the problem had been addressed in 17.04, but I couldn't test

Sorry, this bug isn't consistent so that last log may not have reflected
the issue. This _should_ show that it starts my headphones as digital
out, upon unplugging the line out should be switched to 5.1. Again
plugging in headphones change
In my case speakers should be set to Analog Surround 5.1 Output + Analog
Stereo Input, however after unplugging headphones they are switched to
digital out.

The 14.04.2 live CD fails for other reasons but with an "apt-get
upgrade" to 1.1.6-20-g1b9f164-1ubuntu2 it starts working, so Trusty does
not appear to have this problem.

I've also reproduced this when disabling wifi, it took nearly 6 minutes
before network-manager tried to activate the ofono context.

I am having this problem on a desktop machine. I have to click three
times in a row to register a mouse click. Xubuntu fully upgraded. I
have a genuine Microsoft mouse so that it is fairly generic. I am using
an NVidia graphics card. xdiagnose shows no errors

When creating a new hotspot using the attached script, NM no longer
disconnects from the current AP. I'm sure I've looked at this sometime
in the past and confirmed it wasn't connected, so this behavior has
changed at some point.
