I can confirm this problem. Top and left alignment are fine, right and
bottom alignment result in the described scrolling effect and wired
window maximizing.

Issue is still present in Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS, at least with upgrade from
previous LTS (and this was not an issue before upgrade). Mentioned
solution resolves the issue. In my opinion this bug is critical as for
non tech users till someone finds this solution typing becomes a

After getting a new laptop, Acer V3-551, for a long time I could not get
the inbuilt Realtek PCIE RTS5209 to mount in read and write mode. It
would always mount it in read only mode. After trying out many possible
solutions, I just compiled the driver from the Realtek website
The Realtek driver installation fixed the problem only temporarily. Can
no longer write to SD cards.
