if dock transparency is set to DYNAMIC,
dock opacity is triggered by DING extension in Wayland.
Works as expected under Xorg, dock background stays transparent while
DING is enabled.

Sorry for commenting again, maybe best workaround is installing older
Ubuntu fonts ( taken from 20.04 ) as listed below where ubuntu_initial
are now default in 24.04 and ubuntu are the older ones.

blue as accentuation colour.
I expect them to stay orange ( or any other colour ) as set in Ubuntu

enable/disable window title bar changes texte color in tabs,

Well renaming $HOME is questionable, at least, depending on how you made it.
And the names of usual folders inside $HOME follow some conventions ( XDG,
freedesktop ) which are expected by your desktop environment and system.

Often shows a visually and functionally broken menu,
where some items are hidden / overlapped by others.
And those items can't be triggered.

Hi,
I can't confirm the jumbling characters but I also have the feeling
search is much slower in 22.10 than in 22.04.
But maybe things get faster in places where some searches have already
been done.
And slower in places where you've never searched anything.

Why using sudo nautilus at first ?
It won't work in wayland and it's expected.
It may work in xorg but not advised.
Maybe better try
pkexec nautilus
?
sudo has never been intended for launching graphical applications.
