I updated the xserver-xorg-video-intel and DRM packages to their ppa
:xorg-edgers versions and installed the 3.9.0-994.201304110406 kernel
from drm-intel-nightly.
When booting the drm-intel-nightly kernel, the mouse does not work

2.0.4+git20121208+r469-0~r43~quantal1 (claimed working) and

I can extract that example file without problems (it just contains a ã,
but no ~ or ç). I use Ubuntu 12.10 and have unar installed.
Which Ubuntu version do you use? Which of these package do you have
installed: unar, unrar, rar?
