I have the same problem in Ubuntu 12.10. I've set up a proxy in my .ssh/config
file, it works on the command line but is ignored if I try to use it in
nautilus.
If I'm not mistaken nautilus uses gvfs as a backend to mount remote filesystem,
dunno if gvfs is supposed to read the ssh configuration

I'm using firefox 19 with the globalmenu extension. After selecting the
firefox window, the first attempt to interact with the program (i.e.
open or close tab, select a tab, scroll down the webpage etc.) makes the
program unresponsive and the CPU runs at 100% for a few seconds
It's happening in Firefox 20 too. Disabling the globalmenu extension
solves the problem.

I was running different Nvidia graphic cards with different proprietary
Nvidia drivers (see my previous post).
Changed the Nvidia graphic card to an old HD 5670 Radeon AMD and loaded
the catalyst drivers. *Until now no more system hangups has appeared.*
Will try e newer AMD R9 290 card later
The only way to solve this problem is install "pcmanfm" and run:
xdg-mime default pcmanfm.desktop inode/directory
This solution worked for me, because I have my main folders as .desktop
entries in the Unity dash.

new way, and support for that was not as good as we expected at first.

I have my own RCP application, built with Eclipse Helios, for multiple
platforms. The problem happens for me when I test the application build

Same here: Kubuntu 14.10, LibreOffice 4.3.3.2, spanish localization.
This makes installed LO unusable for me. Alternatives: XMODIFIERS
workaround; reinstall gnome LO; use alternative software: calligra, OO;
abiword... None of them is satisfying. Provided office package should
be completely usable
