I'm running Ubuntu GNOME 16.04 on a laptop (HP Elitebook Folio 1020 G1
SE) with an external display (DELL U2713H) via HDMI, and I cannot
suspend displays with this configuration kept.
1. I type Win+L to lock the session
2. Laptop shows locked screens, then all display outputs
Happens on my Lenovo A740.

mentioned, to set accelmethod to uxa, but to no avail. Both vt-switching
and xset dpms force off bring back the cursor (where locking removes
it).

To stop my OpenVPN DNS leak I ended up doing the following
Disabled dnsmasq as described above
Installed unbound so /etc/resolv.conf was not using my routers DNS
intermittently when connected to the VPN
Added my VPN's DNS IP's as well as adding the line block-outside-dns to

Directory authentication enabled against a Windows Server 2003 PDC. The problem

Same problem here. Many people mention as a workaround to delete the
monitors.xml file. However, this workaround is only valid if you want to
use the default resolution at startup. For me it's not possible because
Ubuntu is trying to set a default resolution that is not supported by my
screen. Ther
Have you changed org.gnome.desktop.wm.preferences focus-mode? What do
you use? click, sloppy or mouse?
