I do have the same problem. The problem was i connected to a second
monitor and revert my graphic settings to Nouveau. I previously used
nvidia graphic driver but the dual monitor doesn't work. I'm not sure
whether the dual monitor is causing the problem or the Nouveau graphic

Thanks for the log. It's recreated on each reboot, so I only see the one
from the latest boot. The contents are slightly different from what I
get here, but I don't see anything really suspicious. Everything seems
to go as planned, and the fact that you can briefly see the keyboard now
only confirm
I'm not sure if this is a duplicate. My problem occurs only if the
radeon driver is loaded (although the AMD GPU need not be in use). Both
suspend and hibernate work fine for me if the radeon driver is not
loaded, e.g., by disabling the AMD GPU in the BIOS settings. I did not
find much information

If I have to use compiz, I will use unity instead of gnome-flashback.
marco2 is a branch of old metacity and currently version is stable
(including composite-manager), and support GTK3 CDE window. It is a good

installed the grilo extra plugins brings 3 extra ones
(guardian/apple/euronews), same under Unity or GNOME session.

Computer works with windows without problems.
As soon as I install Ubuntu the PC hangs on booting.It stops for 2 min with
error code 99 on boot up.(I have an dual boot system)Then when I boot up in
Windows there is an error message in the device manager with an usb error.

doing nothing - all that happens is your project ends up screwing up the
