Same for any page with any printer. CUPS seems to run an endless loop
exausting it has done ok. But nothing done at all. Just looping.

Further: indexers are started for nntp too. Fetching new messages from,
say gmane.org --- 2543 indexer threads running. Bad!

This is related to Thunderbird global indexer. It is @§$%&(/=?*'{[!"@@
inefficiently written. And while indexing killing the whole system. Second
point: the indexer does a full index every time a new mail arrives. And to make
the whole messy: it starts over and over again -- even if it is alread
Why don't start indexing once AFTER news where fetched, not once for
every message fetched??

Thunderbird hangs every view minutes for a longer time (up to 10
minutes), not reacting to any keypress, not updating any of open
windows. CPU-Usage is at 100%, only one or two of the various threads
running have CPU-usage of together 100%. All other threads are sleeping.
