received this bug against Winff more than once, but this time Doug
figured out the the duplication of input in Winff is solved by

Please be aware of flash issues with the change from gtk2 to gtk3 in
liferea 1.10. I don't know (I haven't tried yet to find out) how this
impacts liferea in Ubuntu but better check it:
