Does anyone know a solution for this? I'm still experiencing this bug,
I'm unable to increase my screen brightness and pressing the decrease
screen brightness keys immediately jumps to minimum screen brightness.

Huawei broadband mode
Public bug reported:
Huawei broadband modem fails to connect to Tigo, Honduras, after the
most recent Ocelot update (Sep. 3.2011). 3.0.0.9 Kernel.
Ocelot finds and recognises the modem, and dials, but it just fails to
connect to the Internet service. I'm back in Natty now and I'm
connecting fine.

When I press the key to lower the screen brightness it immediately turns
the screen brightness to minimum but when I hit the key to increase the
screen brightness it turn my screen to 1/10 of it's maximum brightness
(my /sys/class/backlight offers 10 levels of brightness), tho

This bug is still present in 11.10 when installing evolution and it's
indicator.

This also appears some times at login, I imagine that this is because
