Answer to your question; still reproducible, yes.
Well that did not go all that well. It got me stuck in a 640x480. Even doing
a xrandr -q only gave me that resolution.

I can try, but if I install the Nouveau driver that opens up a can of worms
here.
The graphics become completely unstable, shaking, with vert or horiz tearing.
Just completely unusable. It is real tricky to even get through the menus to

This may have helped a bit, but the distortion is still there. As stated above
I swapped the 48000 with the 41000 after removing the rem(;) in daemon.conf.

Before I forget, not a major issue; but the slide show panels display 13.10

I was running Pulseaudio Volume Control and noticed for the first time while in
the [Playback] tab
some activity when I click the left or right speaker test in the Speaker
Testing for HDMI / Displayport.

I tried all sorts of settings within ALSA and Pulseaudio to hear the sound on

I replaced the HDA-Intel.conf with the above(see #45). My results are the
same. Audio-test -c 6 -t wav results in audio out via the HDMI, stereo only.
Left-Right reversed and Left-Right Rear, Center and LFE barely audible.

I am now without audio. For some reason Pulseaudio is not starting and Sound
